About Cemre Ozkurt



I started my life inside a family that value art, they took me to a weekend cartoon school when I was 7 years old, I went there every weekend until I start Mimar Sinan Art academy in Istanbul.

During school I've won several cartoon awards, and I had my first personal cartoon exhibition at Cartoon Museum of Turkey. Right before University, I made an animation and game website Fistik.com, In a short time period it became popular and well-known.
In 2001 I've created my first demoreel and went to Newyork. Shortly after that I started working in Manhattan FDG studios. 1 Year later I started working at Blur Studio in Los Angeles.
At Blur Studio, We made Oscar nominated "Gopher Broke" short film and delivered many cool game cinematics for Spiderman game, Sonic, Warhammer, Unreal Championship, Sponge bob, and Disney's Mickey Mouse twice open chrismas...

After that my Character Art for Video Game production days started and continued at Electronic Arts/ Sims 3 and expansion packs, after that In Talltale Games/Back to the Future, Dungeons and Dragons MMORPG The Neverwinter and Activision/Blizzard The Skylanders Giants and Skylanders Trap Team.
Specially, the Skylanders series has crossed the threshold of $4 billion in sales, sold over 300 million toys and the franchise has become the 11th biggest console franchise of all time. I've designed and 3d modeled many Skylanders figures that displayed over the starter kit product boxes, and some of them re-sculpted as life size statues during game shows and conventions.

I am currently working fulltime at Illumix studio and create Five Nights at Freddys' AR game, and Augmented reality experiences for Disneyland Team Parks.
